After the result, several documents matter for admissions and future study. Here is what each one is and how to obtain it.
Online (provisional) marksheet
The marks you see and print on result day are provisional. They are useful for immediate reference but are not a substitute for the official document.
Digital marksheet (DigiLocker)
An official digital marksheet is available through DigiLocker once records are linked. It is widely accepted and convenient to store.
Original marksheet & certificate
The printed original marksheet-cum-certificate is distributed through your school after the result. Keep it safe; you will need it for admissions and verification.
Migration & duplicate documents
- Migration certificate — needed if you move to another board or state for further study.
- Duplicate marksheet — can be requested if the original is lost or damaged, through the official process.
